Kirtan is for everyone and offers the possibilities of personal discovery and expression or, simply, the joy of raising one's voice in song. Expect surprises when you wake up your soul and spirit with Bhakti Yoga - the yoga of devotion. Come bring your voice, your heart and be in this sacred space with us! All are welcome! No experience necessary!

Mindfulness in action is the endeavor to observe what occurs without evaluating, judging, or participating just focusing on the contents of our inner experience. This workshop will consist of lessons on the practice of Mindfulness Meditation and mindfulness in daily life.  Seated and walking meditation will be taught as well as some creative methods of practicing mindful awareness.  There will be a discussion of how mindfulness practice enhances well-being from a psychological point of view, and a brief discussion of how meditation affects the brain.  Time for meditation practice and questions from participants will also play a central role.  Please bring a notebook.
