Liberation Yoga was founded in 2008 by Adrea and David Robles and was the culmination of their dream to create a sacred space and a community of like-minded people. Liberation has since expanded to include a range of talented teachers, massage therapists and others, allowing us to offer a range of services and specialties.

Meet the friendly faces of Liberation below!

  • Adrea Robles, LMT, E-RYT, YACEP, Reiki Master/Teacher

For the past 15 years, Adrea has been using her hands to help people release tension and other blockages from their bodies, re-establishing the healthy flow of energy through massage therapy and reiki. Her upbeat yoga classes are designed to stimulate the mind, challenge the body, and reconnect you to your spirit. As a reiki master teacher, she not only awakens the healer within her students, but provides a firm foundation in the theory and practice of energetic healing, something she also brings to Liberation's yoga teacher training program. Adrea is the co-founder of Liberation Yoga & Wellness with her husband Dave and is proud to offer a sacred space and community for like-minded people to gather and grow. Beyond her work in healing and yoga, Adrea is a creative artist, producing beautiful malas, mandalas, paintings, and jewelry, many examples of which can be found around the studio.
  • David Robles, E-RYT

Co-founder with his wife Adrea, David brings his life-long interest in philosophy, psychology and spirituality to every class. His classes take a holistic approach, and are designed to engage not only the body, but the mind and spirit. Students should expect to learn solid alignment, have an accessible and challenging class, and engage with new ideas every time. David is a strong proponent of life-long learning and has recently entered a graduate program at Fordham University in Counseling and Pastoral Care to deepen his skills and understanding.
  • Kassie Berg, Studio Manager, RYT

Kassie moved to Mahopac from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2018 and felt immediately drawn to Liberation for its deep sense of community and spiritual connection. In a hectic world where disconnect can sometimes feel like the norm, Liberation felt like an oasis where every mind and body is welcome to work towards self growth and expansion. So she decided to post up and make it her home. She graduated from Liberation’s School of Yoga in 2019 and feels incredibly grateful to be part of a team of such brave and dedicated teachers and healers. As studio manager she aims to cultivate a safe, accepting community space where people can come to explore who they are and who they want to be. Kassie uses her time teaching yoga to encourage students to lovingly accept their minds and bodies as they are in the present moment. In her classes she strives to create a container where people can be honest, vulnerable, and gentle with themselves, explore their edges, laugh with one another, and feel a strong sense of community.

As a special education and theatre teacher, she has worked the past 15 years helping her students to build stronger connections to themselves, each other, and to the world in which we live. For Allie, it was a natural progression for her to take her Yoga practice to the next level, both personally and professionally, completing her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification with Liberation in 2018. Through helping others cultivate a yoga practice of their own, Allie is excited to share with her students the perspective, peace, and inner strength that can be discovered along the way. Furthermore, Allie has embraced the energetic healing art of Reiki, and shares this beautiful healing modality with others as a certified Reiki Master Practitioner. • Vincent Mazzacone, Reiki Master Teacher, Shaman Practitioner

Vincent's journey with yoga and Reiki started while he was working through a marital breakup. He was encouraged by his therapist to try yoga. Vincent came to find Liberation and felt immediately that it was the right place for him. Reiki found Vincent by chance. He was looking to fill an afternoon with some sort of activity and found himself signing up for a Saturday afternoon Reiki attunement class. He attended the class never having heard the word Reiki or knowing what it was. What he experienced was a powerful and provoking transformation into a world he never knew could exist, through balance, centering and the human touch. Vincent now finds peace and contentment helping others as a Reiki Master at Liberation Yoga and Wellness Center, where it all began. Vincent is currently expanding his Shamanic studies and blends Reiki and his Shamanic Training in his healing sessions.
